Yekaterina (Kate @dancewithkate) Virshki is an International Artist and founder of BachataFusionNyc Company.
She is known for few choreographing skills and helping her students to overcome fear, awkwardness and luck of confidence by not just improving there skills, but also mental happiness through the dance.
Kate was born in Saint Petersburg (Russia). Lived in Kazakhstan/China/USA
First she started dancing with A Famous Dance Company “Todes” at the age of 12.
She has over 10 years of dance training in Salsa and Bachata. She has been trained in several forms of dance as well such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Latin Fusion, Afro, Dancehall etc. Kate is always trying to improve her skills. That’s what made her travel to New York where she trained at several famous dance schools (Broadway Dance Center, Ailey Extension, Yamulee Dance Company , Capezio Dance Center ) France with Mouaze Konate and Ella, Arab Emirates Sharmila’s Dance Academy. Wishing to improve with the best choreographers in the world.
In Salsa and Bachata she trained with the best such as Alien Ramirez ( choreographer of “So you think you can dance” and 24 time World Champion ) Eddie Torres The Mambo King and Maria Torres , Daniel and Desiree, Franklin Diaz, Grizelle Ponce and Baudi, Yamulee School, Charlie and Tania, Rodrigo Cortazar, Sekou and many more.
She also competed in the World Latin Dance Cup and Salsa Summit both held in USA Miami.
2014 Second Place in China, Solo Devision.
2016 Third Place in HK World Championship.
2017 First Place in “Defend your Music” China.
2018 First Place in HK World Championship, Ladies Salsa Team.
2020 she moved to the US.
She taught in different countries as United States,Singapore, China,Kazakhstan, Arab
